There are days (read, most days) when we are in such a hurry because we decided to sleep those 5 extra minutes (read, 15 minutes extra) and then decide to skip on an elaborate makeup look and go back to the basics. We all have those few favorites that we reach for every day. Our makeup staples. For many of us our everday makeup is either scattered or neatly packed away. Why waste time in searching for it every morning?
For the eyes:
Today's post is just a simple solution to that problem.
I have my favourites kept together in one little basket and that is kept easily accessible on my dressing table.
Here is what all I have in my 5 minute makeup kit.
For the face:
The Body Shop concealer in shade no.5
Ponds tinted moisturiser in shade 3. (This has been discontinued but I still have one bottle stashed away.)
Deborah compact powder in shade no.4
For the eyes:
Revlon eye pencil in black
Lakme instaliner (The only liner with which I can line my eyes in literally an instant and get the thinnest line ever.)
Avon SimplyPretty Big Eye Pencil in Dark Brown (the simplest way to apply eye colour and also a very pretty eye colour for an everyday look)
For the lips:
Lotus Herbals lipbalm in Cherry. (This was the lipbalm at that moment, but it could be any lip balm.)
The miscellaneous stuff that you see in the basket is a pack of tissues, my roll on deo, and a small body spray. Also the Lakme Cheek Artist Blush for the days when I have 7 minutes and not 5. Last but not in any way the least, my contact lens case.
