Nail Art #3: Spunky colours

Practise makes perfect right? So here I present to you, my third attempt at nail art. (I don't think it is perfect yet but it is getting better)  Click here and here to see the previous attempts.

3 Lakme products for the coming summer season.

So first off let me say that my eye is getting better so I have been wearing eyeliner, just not on the waterline. Bangalore is getting so hot already!! This is the spring season for many places, but Bangalore seems have to hit summer already.

REVIEW: Deborah Milano Compact Powder in 02

As you can see I am literally hitting pan in this compact and I am finally reviewing it. Why did it take me so long to review it?? Well I was a bit confused. I loved it when I picked it up and then I didn't like it for a while (or so I thought), but actually I do like it. It just took time to get used to it.

REVIEW: The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream

So a little less than a year ago, I suddenly woke up to the fact that my skin needed some extra care. I am in my late twenties and so I felt like I was not yet old enough to use an anti ageing product but I mostly definitely needed something more than just moisturiser and sun screen. That's when I started looking at other alternatives and reading about anti oxidants and extra supplements for my skin that would help improve its quality. The main thing that I wanted was an eye cream and I picked that up from Clinique (review on that soon). The other product I really badly wanted was a night cream and The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing  Night Cream seemed perfect for this.

Some rambling.. An update

So the Internet connection has been kind of crappy the past 2 days and that's why I haven't been able to post. To add to that I have a slight swelling in my eye for a while now (read a while as more than a month) and I went for an eye check up today. Turns out it is a cyst that burst and is healing and so basically this rules out any EOTDs or LOTDs for a while. Atleast for 20 days. I have eye drops to use and so I don't want to use makeup and mess with the healing process..
I do have a couple of LOTDs already clicked and ready to be edited but for the rest of the month I guess there will be some reviews and that's about it.. I may not post as often as last month but I will still be around.
I just thought i should update my readers as to why I may go MIA for a while.

LOTD: The Monday Blues

Its Monday Its Monday!! yes I am one of those weirdos who actually likes Mondays. I like routine and school is just that. I like knowing what I am doing in the next hour. So I don't really have Monday morning blues. I like getting ready, the hair, the clothes and of course the makeup.

My take on hairstyles and makeup looks from THE OSCARS 2014.

Today's is a very small post. Just a bunch of pictures showing you which were my favourite makeup looks and hairstyles from the Oscars 2014.  I will also give an idea of how I picture there can be worn with Indian wear.

LOTD: A Fresh Spring look and a a Mid day makeover.

While driving to school today I could see the golden rays of the sun just peeking out from behind the clouds and there were pretty pink flowers growing on the bushes that are planted on the median. All I think is 'spring, spring is here'. For change I got ready early, even managed to finish clicking pictures of myself in peace and then leave. That's why I was able to notice the sun and the flowers instead of whizzing past them at speeds that I should not mention here (my parents and students read my blog)

Monthly favourites: February

If you have been following me regularly, then you will have a fair idea of what my favourites this month have been. There are some accessories as well and not just makeup and skincare this month.
