REVIEW: The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream

So a little less than a year ago, I suddenly woke up to the fact that my skin needed some extra care. I am in my late twenties and so I felt like I was not yet old enough to use an anti ageing product but I mostly definitely needed something more than just moisturiser and sun screen. That's when I started looking at other alternatives and reading about anti oxidants and extra supplements for my skin that would help improve its quality. The main thing that I wanted was an eye cream and I picked that up from Clinique (review on that soon). The other product I really badly wanted was a night cream and The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing  Night Cream seemed perfect for this.
Why I chose this product was because Vitamin E is an antioxidant and helps in skin repair. Since most of the repair occurs at night it made sense to look for a night cream with Vit E in it. The Body Shop was my first choice and luckily they had exactly what I wanted.
I started using this around May last year and I didn't like it at first. Something made me breakout and I wasn't sure if it was this cream so I stopped using it. When I tried again, I still wasn't happy because I was waking up with oily skin. So I just put it away.
Then in the New Year I resolved to put together a proper skin care routine and incorporate serums and night creams and eye creams. The whole works. That is what I have been doing for two months now. And I am finally ready to review this.

Price: 1095 INR.

What I like about this product:
It has Vit E which is great for the skin
Simple packaging.
There is a faint odour but not overwhelming.
When I wake up my skin feels supple and smooth and hydrated. Not oily.
Very little is needed.
Affordable in comparison to many other brands.

What I don't like about this product:
I am not sure how this will fare in the summer months. I need to wait and see.
Can feel a bit greasy when being applied but it does get absorbed quickly.

Overall I do like this product but before I settle down and say this is THE night cream for me, I would like to try some other products.

My night skin routine also involved the The Tea Tree Blemish Free night cream and the under eye gel also from The Body Shop. I started those fairly recently so I am not ready to review them yet.

What is your night skin care routine like?
