LOTD: What I used to wear as a teacher.

When I was a student I remember that a teacher was always judged by what she wore and not just how she taught. Studying in an Anglo Indian school meant that I had teachers who wore smart formals and not just saris. There was this one English teacher who would wear this beautiful silk scarf with a formal shirt. We all have a teacher whose style of dressing we've admired right? Well I have gotten tons of compliments for my accessories and especially my eye makeup from my students.

I wore makeup every day to work and today's look is something that I would wear to school on the days when there was some special assembly. I know there are some people out there who will feel that this is a bit too much makeup for school but I don't feel that way. It is extremely important to look put together and makeup just ties the whole look together well. (Speaking of looking put together, I have a giveaway going on where you can win products for an evening look. Click here to enter)

If I wore heavy eye makeup then I would tone down the accessories and if my makeup was light, then I would wear a pair of statement earrings.

Makeup breakdown.
On the face I have MAC Studiofinish foundation in NC 44, with MAC Studiofix concealer in NW 35 and L'Oreal True match concealer. I set this with the Deborah Milano Compact in 02 (I shot this before my compact broke).
The blush/ bronzer is the Lakme Blush in Honey Bunch.

Fishtail braid with my bangs side swept and pinned back. I think it is stylish but elegant.

layered chains just add so much to a look without going over board.

On my eyes, all the eyeshadows are from the Makeup Revolution London Redemption Palette Iconic 3. The eye liner is Elle 18 liner in Black out (I know it isn't my best liner look. I had some trouble with this liner). Under the lower lash line I smudged a bit on NYX eyeliner in Blue Roi. I finished the look with Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara.

The lipstick I am wearing is Maybelline Colorshow in Choco latte.

So. Who's the one teacher from your school days who was always the best dressed? I am sure everyone has one such memory, Do share it in the comments down below.
