LOTD: Black and White featuring earrings from Zotiqq

Recently I was invited to judge an event at a school fest and I decided that I would let the fashion blogger in me piece an outfit together that said "Hey I know my stuff and that's why I am a judge" but I didn't want to look all stiff and uptight, so I added a pop of  colour.
black and white with a pop of red was the natural choice for the palette.

Well technically the kurta isn't white. It is more of an off white but it works great for a monochrome look. This kurta is just so versatile, I mean, I have worn it for so many different occasions that there will definitely be an Avatar post on this soon.

Outfit details:
Off White kurta- Melange
Black salwar pants- got it stitched.

Accessories
Aztec earrings from Zotiqq that I bought during the sale. (hopefully by the time this post goes up I would have gotten my first subscription box from Zotiqq)
Gold and Silver twisted chain- Sia jewellery
Red watch- Fastrack
Gold bangle- FabIndia

Check out the earrings from Zotiqq

Makeup:
The base for my makeup is the usual combination of MAC StudioFinish foundation in NC 44, MAC StudioFix concealer in NW 35 with L'Oreal true match concealer and set with Colorbar perfect match compact in 003 Warm Beige.

So the day before this event I rediscovered my Lakme Blush duo in Coral Blush and I used it in this look as well.

The Maybelline BOLD MATTE lipstick in MAT 2 is the first red lipstick that I bought and well it is more of a orange red and not a true red so I always wear with a gloss. To tone down the redness I wore it with Estee Lauder lipgloss (sample size) today.

For the eyes, I have used Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate smudged out with the dark brown eye shadow from the Faces trio in Chocolate. I have been totally loving the combo and the sexy smouldering effect it gives. To finish the eye makeup, I used L'Oreal Million lashes mascara and Benefit Gimme Brow in medium deep to set my brows in place.

Oh oh to tell you a little about the event, it was a street play event and I saw some of the future directors and actors of Bollywood there. Man, what acting! What storylines! Such creativity I tell you.

So tell me, what would you wear if you had to go and judge an event?
