There is something about tie and dye that catches your attention. The idea of tie and dye being something other than a tee shirt or a stole, fascinated me. When Vesa Fashions, sent me a tie and dye dress that was a dual sided dress, I was so excited. I got to style this in two ways without even having to do anything much.
Indo western fusion is the core of Vesa Fashions. Keeping that in mind, I decided to style the dress in a slightly more ethnic way as well. Who said a dress could only be a dress.
Outfit 1: A Mid summer nights dream
This is one of my favourite plays of Shakespeare. When I wore this dress, with the darker side in front, it was all I could think about. How this would be the perfect dress for a summer evening out. I accessorized it with earrings from UK, a chain from Estelle and a simple silver bracelet. I wore my hair in a side braid for a more relaxed romantic look.
Outfit 2: Let's talk business
As a teacher, a dress isn't really my outfit choice for work. However I do think this dress, when worn with the lighter side in front and accessorised appropriately, can work for a business lunch. I chose a statement necklace from Zotiqq which is the same colour as the dress. The gold highlights in the necklace match the tones of gold in my earrings and bracelet and brightens the entire outfit, making it more summery. I chose a statement piece because I wanted to be heard, but I didn't want to look crazy, so I matched the colour to my dress.
Outfit 3: Indo western fusion.
To give the dress an ethnic feel, I paired it with a pair of leggings and a dupatta. I chose the lighter side simply because I had leggings to match this colour. I chose bangles and simple stone studded earrings to go with this. For footwear, I wore chappals,
This is definitely my favourite way to wear this dress. I think this outfit could work for a casual outing with friends.
Don't you just love pieces that as multipurpose. I am working towards a wardrobe that has only multi functional pieces.
So how would you wear this dress?? Are there any other ways I could accessorise this dress?
