How to: Piku inspired Makeup + Outfit feat Crazy For Cosmetics

So anyone who knows me well, knows that I rarely watch Hindi movies. This is mostly because I don't understand Hindi too well and so I tend to avoid going for Hindi movies. However I thoroughly enjoyed Piku!! Being the eldest daughter (and not yet married :P) I could totally relate to Deepika's character. Whenever I didn't understand the dialogues I just focussed on the makeup and outfits she wore. #MindOfAFashionBlogger

When I was thinking of doing a Piku Inspired look, Harine from Crazy for Cosmetics told me that she had an outfit post ready for it. So here I am going to show you the makeup look and outfits that Harine has styled.

I wore this makeup for a blogger's meet and I loved how it turned out. I have always been a fan of kohl lined eyes so the look that Deepika sported in Piku was just my kinda look.

Step 1: Realise that you promised someone you would do this makeup look a long time ago.

Step 2: Be upset that your favourite kajal got over.

Step 3: Wash your face, moisturise and prime with a primer of your choice.

Step 4: Put your contacts in while the primer sets.

Step 5: Apply the brown cream eyeshadow to your eyelids. Blend the edges using a matte taupe colour.

Step 6: Smudge the kajal onto your lower lashline. Using a smudger brush dipped in matte dark brown eyeshadow, smudge the kajal further.

Step 7: Line your upper lash line and smudge it with the same brown eyeshadow.

Step 8: By now the primer would have set so start with your foundation. I like to use a beauty blender to blend out my foundation. I usually use foundation and then use my concealer.

Step 9: Add a dusky rose colour to your cheeks for a bit of colour. Feel free to contour if you find it necessary.

Step 10: Add loads of mascara.

Step 11: Finish the look with a 'my lips but better' lipstick.

Step 12: Step back and pout to take a selfie. Then realise that you didn't do your brows and since you don't want a thirteenth step just do them now and pretend like they were already done.

Okay now take loads of selfies for the blog.
