Introducing Prinivia +OOTD

There are some people that we meet in our life who end up playing a a role in helping is us create a lifelong relationship with someone else.
There was this girl in my dance class and I always aspired to be able to dance like her. Her energy level was something I had to match when we performed together, and let me tell you something, when you are 26, trying to match the energy level of a 16 year old is a huge effort.

Not only has this girl pushed me to work harder in dance but now thanks to her, I have the opportunity to introduce a beautiful boutique called Prinivia on IshtyleAwhile

Located in Chennai, this ethnic wear boutique owned by Priya and Niveditha (hence the name PRINIVA). As of now their range is available on a Facebook Page.

Their collection started with sarees and has now expanded to kurtis, abaya gowns, shrugs and kids clothes. They do customisations as per your requests and also stitch based on your requirements.

They look at bringing designer sarees in a variety of materials including semi tussar silk, chiffon, georgette, chiffon, cotton silk, jute and brasso to you at affordable prices.

Priniva sent me two kurtis to style for my readers, All I did was send them my measurements and tell them that I wanted something that I could wear to work and casually. They did the rest.

Look 1: The Nerd at Work
Like any Indian woman, my wardrobe staples include loads of kurtis in different colours and different styles. I was delighted to receive this kurti to add to my collection.

It is pure cotton and I love the sleeves. I feel like this length of the sleeve really flatters my arms. It is extremely work appropriate. The length of the kurti works well for wearing over jeans or even with a patiala (I don't own a black patiala so I could not style it in that fashion).

Since I don't generally over accessorize for work, I decided to skip the necklace and use just a stole that I got in one Fabbag. To complete the nerdy look, I made sure to wear my glasses and have a book in my hand.

Priced at 750INR.

Come back on Tuesday to see the look I styled  with the other kurta that I got from Priniva.

So how do you like this look?
