She stepped back from the mirror to admire her handiwork. Her eye liner was perfect. The Maybelline Colossal Eyeliner never failed her. It always gave her the neatest line and stayed on for atleast 5 hours without budging. Paired with the Maybelline Colossal Kajal on her waterline, it defined her eyes perfectly. She had just smudged the kajal on her waterline ever so slightly to add a bit more of the desi look. 'Maybe I should touch up the eyeshadow a bit in the crease', she thought to herself. She didn't have much time and she knew she had to hurry up. The MAC paintpot in Indianwood was always what she reached for when she wasn't given a lot of time to get ready for an event. It was long lasting and a great base for any powder eyeshadow. In the crease and to blend out the edges she had used NYX True Taupe and her bronzer. Well technically the Lakme Bluch in Honey Bunch was not a bronzer, but a regular blush. She loved using it as transition colour for her eyeshadows. To finish the eye makeup she coated her eyelashes with the gorgeous L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara. This mascara always lifted her eye makeup to whole other level. The last thing left to do was her eyebrows. Being short of time she grabbed the Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium Brown and set her brows in place.
Coincidentally she was heading for a function on a Sunday morning and on her lips she had dabbed on the Rosy Sunday from the Lakme 9-5 range. As she stopped to click a selfie she noticed that she needed a bit more coverage. The MAC Studiofinish liquid foundation was her choice for a base and she always topped it off it the MAC Studiofix concealer in NW 35. She dabbed the concealer on the places that she felt needed that little bit extra coverage and retouched the blush. The NYX blush in Mocha was the best buy ever. It always gave a rosy natural look. Her skin felt a bit dry, so instead of a compact she set her makeup with the MAC prep and prime spray.
She looked in the mirror one more time and winked at the gorgeous girl that looked back at her from the mirror. After adjusting her bindi and blowing a flying kiss to the mirror, she stepped into the balcony to take selfies. Now she was ready to go.
I am so sorry that it looks dull. The light was just so terrible just when I stepped out to click. Till then it was nice and bright. Bangalore and its mood swings I say!
