So I wasn't really keeping too well last week and that's why I was absconding for a few days and missed out on blogging. Bangalore weather can really mess with your respiratory system and well I ended up missing out on a lot of things that I wanted to do for the weekend that just went by.
Anyhoo keeping with the street style theme, here is a post that has been sitting in my drafts for a while and considering that my last post was about street shopping, it seemed apt for this to follow it.
I don’t know why but when people say street style the first image that pops in my head is long skirts and beaded chains. So very obviously my outfit post on street style is featuring a long skirt and beaded chains.
I got this skirt from Myntra.com (before it became app only) and somehow I only ever wear it with a black top. I love the contrast between the brightness of the skirt and the neutral top. This black top is an oldy but goody from Jealous Jeans. I don’t know if they make this particular style any more but I made sure to stock up when I saw that they had. The versatility of the top never ceases to amaze.
The streets of Bangalore like Brigade road and Commercial Street are flooded with chains like this, but this particular one was a gift from my mom. She bought it from the streets of Trivandrum just for me!!
The earrings are a gift and my footwear from Commercials. So yes there a lot of roadside shopping that has happened for this outfit to come together.
My makeup is inspired my one of my favourite YouTubers- Delhi Fashion Blogger.
So that’s my take on a street style inspired look. What’s yours?
