Party Wear and Winter '15 Collection at KAZO

Kazo Winter Collection

Hey everyone, so I am back from my oh-so-many trips. If you have been following my other blog, you will know that I turned 30 recently and I was in Singapore for my birthday. I actually shot some vlogs and a collab video with another blogger. So lots of posts in the pipeline.

Before I left I had the opportunity to attend the launch of the Kazo's winter '15 and party wear Collection. The store that we went to is on 100ft road, Indiranagar. It is right next to Starbucks and every time I have been to Starbucks, I've seen this store and written it off as a high end, super expensive, luxury brand. I was really excited to go see what the brand is about.

Some pieces I really liked

I walked into the store to be greeted by a beautiful array of clothes. The colours are extremely winter appropriate with mustards, marsala, bottle green, and of course black. The clothes were displayed accoording to colour families, so putting an outfit together was extremely easy.

The event started with us being introduced to the brand.

Here is what they have to say:
KAZO, the brand and idea, came into being with the aim of amalgamating international trends and fashion at a value that would be affordable for the woman of today. Overnight the brilliance of the idea caught the imagination of all those involved and KAZO was born.

The garments designed were phenomenally fashionable with a high wear ability and practicality quotient. KAZO is a young brand that has crept its way into being the center of the fashion industry. In a short span of time it has established an enviable reputation and hi- visibility in the fashion world.

The main asset of the collection is that it is highly affordable which enables customers access to the latest designer wear, giving a chance to every woman to feel great in her skin, right to her soul.

Kazo's winter and party wear collection has two ranges- One can be described as Chaotic Opulence and the other is  Raw Romance. They have played with different silhouettes, colours, prints and texture keeping in mind that fashion must be affordable as well (It really is not as expensive as I expected). To complete the outfit, they also have statement chains, statement earrings, clutches, handbags, and minimalistic jewellery as well.

Some accessories I loved

We, bloggers, were given an opportunity to not just preview the collection, but dress up in an outfit of our choice and walk the ramp. In half an hour we all had looked around the entire store and picked up what suited out individual styles.

Before the ramp walk

All ramp walk ready

I chose a green full arm top with silver embellishments on the shoulder. I paired this with faded blue jeans, a long chain, stud earrings, and a small black clutch. I am not a very dress kind of person in the winter, I get cold easily so I prefer to keep my legs covered. I am currently loving shades of dark green, dark blue and maroon. This top was totally in line with something that I would pick up. I wasn't too fond of the jeans. It was a bit too low rise for me. But the rest of the outfit was something that completely reflected my style and within my comfort zone.

The outfit I chose.

My ramp walk ready look

What I really loved about the collection was that any woman can find something here for herself irrespective of her age, and body type. The blogger who loved jackets found them in 4 different colours. The one who looks great in peplum tops, found what she was looking for. The ones who are fond of dresses, had a wider variety to choose from. And there was me, looking for simplicity and elegance, and I got just what I wanted.

All the bloggers on the ramp

There are not many brands that cater to so many varied tastes. It was refreshing to see a brand that truly was able to make each and every one of us happy and comfortable.

All of us bloggers got a very thoughtfully put together goody bag with some pretty pieces that are definitely worthy of being styled in a separate blog post. Would you guys like to see that?

Have you seen checked out the collection at Kazo? What do you think of my outfit?
