REVIEW: The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil

You know the saying "the best things come in small packages"?? Well I think it should be modified to "the best things come in small packages and are worth a ton". That's exactly what I feel about TBS Vitamin E Overnight Serum in Oil. I LOVE this product. It is not just a love-at-first-use kind of product. It is the kind of love that grows with time and after a while you cannot imagine life without it. That's how I feel about this.

I have used this for over a year and the fact that 28ml has lasted me for this long just goes to show how a little product can go a long way. Okay maybe I haven't used it for a complete 365 days, but I have definitely used it long enough to see how much of a difference it has made for my skin.

It is no secret that Vitamin E makes you skin more soft and supple which in turn translates to having younger looking skin. That's the only reason why I invested in this small bottle of magic potion that costs 1695INR.

The product is a colourless oil which is very lightweight. I use about 3 drops on nights when my skin feels extra dry and 2 drops on a normal basis. Sometimes when my skin is troubling me and acne is giving me a lot of redness and pain, I use this even during the day. I have used this after a shower instead of moisturiser and I love that it soothes and settles my skin. I have b with this. It absorbs into my skin pretty quickly, and is not sticky or greasy. I find that using two drops during the slightly hotter months is more than enough so that my face does not get excessively oily. I don't use any other night cream when I use this unless the tip of my nose feels dry and patchy. Then I use The Body Shop Vitamin E night cream.

A few drops of the product

See how quickly it has absorbed.

There is a common belief that oily skinned people should not use oil based products. but I promise that my skin has loved this. It really hydrates the skin from the inside and I can see a difference in the morning. I look like I have this glow and even when I have acne breakouts, my skin texture feels amazing overall.

During November and December when it was getting very dry, I mixed a few drops of this into my moisturiser and used it for my arms and legs. I also like just using a a few drops of this on my legs and arms after I have shaved them. It makes the skin feel less itchy and dry.

My skin is happy, I am happy and though my bank balance was unhappy for a while, it has come to terms with it. The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum In Oil is truly worth every paisa and yes I will repurchase it (though for now it looks like it may never get over)

Have you tried this tiny bottle of goodness?? Let me know in the comments below.
