REVIEW: Parachute Advansed Body Lotion with Coconut Milk

I find the coconut tree to be a really fascinating creation. (#geekalert) Each and every part of the tree has some use and the coconut itself finds a lot of use in skincare and haircare. Now when you talk about coconut milk, the first thing I can think of is payasam (P.S I am not a fan of coconut sweets, at all), but coconut milk is also known for its hydrating and moisturizing properties.

The new Parachute Advansed Body Lotion comes in three variants, all with coconut milk in them. I was sent all three for review and well this is when I love my family. Each of us have a different skin type, so I had the entire family testing the products for me.

Variant 1: Deep Nourish for extra dry skin.

I gave my sister first pick and she decided to go for the extra dry skin version. Her skin is a bit more dry in general so it seemed apt for her to choose this. Housed in a pretty lavender bottle, the white lotion has a very faint smell. Nothing unusual. Just the usual smell that lotions have. It is pretty pleasant. The consistency is kind of perfect for a lotion. Not too thick or too runny. It moisturizes well and lasts for about 6-7 hours.

Variant 2: Soft Touch for dry skin

I decided to use this (mostly because I liked the colour of the bottle more than anything else). The consistency of this is definitely lighter than the Deep Nourish variant. It smells also lighter and lasted for about 4-5 hours on my skin. In this weather, that isn't really super long time. I think I would prefer this for a slightly warmer season. It definitely does go deep into the skin because my skin has been feeling a lot more supple than before. It is not greasy at all and not sticky.

Variant 3: Refresh with Cool Mint extracts

So my daddy ended up using the last variant. Just looking at this bottle makes me think of summers. It smells so refreshing and cooling. The consistency is similar to the Soft Touch variant  the lotion has a very pale green colour.. A light yet moisturising lotion. Definitely something I would use in a hotter season. This too lasts for about 4-5 hours in this cold weather.

For 160INR you get 250ml. I love the packaging and the colours of the bottles are very pleasant to look at. The Deep Nourish is good for winters but I prefer the other two for a less dry season.

Have you tried any of the lotions from this range??
