REVIEW: The Nature's Co Cherry Facewash

"I want you to do what Spring does with the Cherry trees"
- Pablo Neruda

Ever since we shifted my face has been on crazy mode!! My acne has been out of control and I had to go back to my dermatologist.  I received this product in the month of April itself so this review has been kind of overdue. It was supposed to go up before we shifted, but clearly we can see how well that worked out. Anyway let’s just get right into it.

The first thing that I noticed about this facewash is the fact that it is very liquid. Most facewashes that I have used have a slightly viscous consistency. This one however is so liquid that I don’t even need to squeeze the tube. If I just tilt it the product just flows out of the tube and this is a bit of a problem because I invariably end up taking more than needed.

This red coloured facewash takes a bit of time to build a lather and definitely does not smell natural. (unless that is what cherries smell like). It has a bit of a plastic smell and that throws me off every time I use it. The smell doesn’t linger on my skin for long which is a good thing. It leaves my skin feeling very smooth and hydrated and sometimes I feel like it takes too long to get washed off. Like some part of the product just doesn’t get washed off your face. It takes a lot of water to feel squeaky clean. Given the hydrating nature of the product I think it would work better in the winter months for me. It doesn’t leave my face feeling oily immediately however after a while it starts to feel oily.

The packaging is simple and easy to use. I don’t think the tube is very travel friendly. I would prefer to transfer this to a travel container and then take it along with me.

At the price of 695INR for 175ml, this facewash will definitely last me for atleast 2-3 months. If I could just figure a way to use lesser product it would definitely last longer.

Would I repurchase this? Probably not. My oily to combination skin needs a more neem based facewash to tackle the summer heat.
