Dreaming of a Thailand Holiday

All I seem to see on my Facebook wall is people going on Thailand holidays. It seems to be the THE destination these days and well there was a point where my sister and I were considering heading on a sister’s trip to there. In this season of holidays, maybe it is time to reconsider that vacation you have been planning, a bit more seriously.

Thailand is the perfect destination whether it be for a solo traveler, even if you are a woman solo traveler, or the big fat Indian vacation with family. Opt for a Thailand Tour package and life is made much simpler for you, especially if you are planning a solo trip.

Thomas Cook has a number of Thailand Tour Packages that you can choose from based upon the number of days you have and of course your budget. In fact they are even giving you the opportunity to win that dream Thailand Holiday and make it a reality.

Thomas Cook is having a #NoMoreFakeacation contest, where you can win a real vacation. All you have to do is create fake vacation pictures, post it on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, tag Thomas Cook in these posts, then sit back and wait to see if you win a Thailand Holiday. Who knew going on holiday could have been as easy as clicking funny pictures of you on a fake holiday and uploading them on social media. Here is the link to enter the contest.

Now if the contest doesn't convince you to take a go on a holiday, here are some more reasons why a Thailand holiday is a much needed vacation now.

There is something for everyone. For the beach lovers, you have the gorgeous sands where you can just sit and sunbathe and forget about life. Opt for Kata beach of you are looking for some quiet “Me Time”. The white sand and clear water, make it the ideal destination for some relaxing time. However if the party animal in you wants to explore the nightlife, head over to Patong and dance the night away.

If trekking is your thing, then Chiang Mai is the place for you to visit. It acts as a base camp for treks to nearby mountains. Alternatively you could check out Khao Sok National Park. This is a nature reserve in the south of Thailand with green leafy dense forests , limestone formations and even home to the rare Rafflesia flower. (Remember that gigantic flower you studied about in school, yes that one.) There are multiple things to do here including staying overnight in a treehouse (that would be a childhood dream come true for me).

To soak in the rich culture of Thailand, make your way to Ayutthaya. Here you will find ruins of kingdoms past, Buddhist temples, and some breath taking scenery.

For the slightly more adventurous, try the water sports and maybe sky diving at Pattaya Lake. This is one thing that I know my sister would definitely want to try.

So go ahead, and enter the #NoMoreFakecation contest. Simply  click pictures, or create a small gif where you pretend to be on vacation, and win yourself a Thailand Tour Package.

*sigh*  Now I need a holiday. Oh my dear sister, I think it is time we plan the trip and properly this time. What do you say?
